I also have a Lilliput EBY701 and I have the same problem. I am using my monitor on a mac mini so I dont feel that the driver for xp is the issue, unless the driver for all platforms is flawed.
From what i've seen, it just seems to stop working. I had it working and then I did a software update several hours later that required reboot. When I came back up it stopped working but I dont think it was related to that update because it has shown this behavior since i've had it (only a few days). I let it sleep and wake it up with a mouse and it works. After that point I can wake it with screen touch. I have just come to the conclusion of bringing the mouse in the car.
