Believe me, I know there are some windows machines that are very stable.
Hell, when I'm not booting into OS-X on my PC desktop, XP runs great!
But, as a whole you will probably have less common everyday problems with Mac.
Even though most problems usually end up being P.E.B.C.A.K.
