Thumbs up

Hey that's awesome, I have a black 01 Civic, and this really shows me what I can do, I actually have most of the same stuff planned out, it's great to see someone do it with the same car. I was actually thinking the same on the RFID starter/lock system set up at some point, possibly integrated with the locks as well. I'm thinking one or two receivers and one proxy card to put in your wallet. When you get within range X it can read the card (from a door sensor?) and unlock/pop the door for you, then when you sit down (sensor in seat) it would turn it to 'on' and optionally start for you, or use a pushbutton. The only issue is that with these cars, there's a chip in the key, so you'd basically have to mount the key somewhere near the ignition, and keep a blank around in case you ever lose power. Using one sensor (if you could get enough range) you could have it set up so when you get close enough, it unlocks the door, disables security, and turns the ignition on for you. That's how I'd like to do it, what do you think?
