yeah I wouldn't seed a splitter because I would just use the external vga output.
The reason I ask about putting to a second screen you know when you start a laptop up you have to go throught the settings on the destop to put it on a second monitor I want the laptop to start that way so i don't have to open the laptop in the trunk just turn it on and it does it automatically
