Im hoping that I can just use a cable with RCA only, from the HD and XM to ports on the switch and then use a RCA to 3.5mm cable from the out port to the line-in port on the soundcard. I am so hoping this will stop the loss of volume. If it does work, we now have a cheap solution to connect alot of devices and not have to switch manually, although we have that option on this switch.
i've heard the splitter route was dangerous and never got the courage to try it.. i'm glad its working for you though.
