did you have any luck with this?
I am trying to boot DOS off of a sandisk extreme iv using the addonics SATA adapter with no luck.
My setup is:
Intel D945GCLF with Atom processor
2 gb ram
4 gb Sandisk Extreme iv
Addonics CF to SATA adapter (single slot)
I ran fdisk off of a windows 98se boot disk, created a partition, rebooted and then ran "format c:/s." It formatted the card and loaded the system files. Upon reboot, it just has the blinking underscore (no C:\>).
any ideas guys? should i just try to use NTFS?
