Something in my mind is telling me that the OBD2 scanner that is being sold on Ebay, is not the real thing. Its just weird that so many people are having issues with it. Mine eventually after 7 times of trying died. It would power up, but Windows would say that the device is malfunctioning and can not be used. After that I decided to shell out 100.oo dollars on a serial port version from here.
http://www.obdpros.com/. All I did was plug it in, then went into CF and it worked with no adjustments. I decided to go serial since I have 4 serial ports, and didnt want to take any chances of exceeding my USB bandwidth.
