Having a similar conflict here myself also.
Want mac in car. Don't want to change factory screen.
2003 BMW 525d with factory nav/tv/6 disc that looks like this :
No chance of an overlay or screen replacement that I can see, unless I get really creative and pull the thing apart, which frankly is not going to happen.
TV unit has a AV input which I thought would be nice to use for a simply mac addition. If its going to look like crap I don't see the point.
What are my options? None spring to mind
