I own a company that does the stuff I do I've got some connections near miami that do stainless steel fab work also.

Its slightly more complicated than just design, hit print, and you have a part. Designs need to be compiled into CNC tool path code, either by human or my computer so the machine knows what to do. The first step is learning how to design in 3d IMHO.

The picture above is not of a part I made, it's a scale drawing of the Metra Trim kit 95-6511 for Chrysler cars. I want to have the entire model in autoCAD since the car is not actually on location and I'm using the OEM radio and OEM dash trim to design it. The purpose of measuring and modeling this part in autoCAD is more for assembly reasons.
