Not so fast ...
Different cars have different formats for OBD-II. See the link at
http://www.scantool.net/faq/general_...which_protocol to determine which format your two cars use. I was lucky ... the ISO format is used for my Jeep and my Volvo.
Suggest you also look at
www.obd-2.com for another alternative. That is what I got, and it works GREAT. There is a group buy on this package going on right now at
www.swedespeed.com (community forums) for much cheaper than the normal price. Link is here
