lol well it was a pain in the *** as you've obviously found out already. i just took a knife or screw driver and worked on it until it came out...its glued and screwed in there. its just the 4 obvious screws. anyhow the reason WHY you have to do this is because the lilliput has that short as svideo looking connection (which is really vga and touch signals) and its so short that when you actually get it all together, its nearly impossible to close. routing it through that little hole saves enough room to close the screen reliablely. btw i have more pics of it fully assembled in the car if any one wants to see it
