Smile My Install

I have attached what installed worked for me. I used an old cord that I had from an old voice commander that had some extra IP-BUS plugs on it. Basically I did exactly what someone posted earlier in the thread... I simply spliced into the L+,L-, R+,R- wires that ran from my headunit to my cd-changer and added two female RCA plugs.

There is ground wiring (LG,RG) that runs on the outside of the L+/-, R+/- wires. All I did with that is simply continue it onward to the CD changer. It in no way touches my RCA.

My results:
I found that I can play my CD changer when nothing is hooked into the RCA. If I hook into the RCA, it overrides the CD-Changer and only the RCA source comes through at a very normal sound volume.

If I switch to my AUX, the sound volume drops a bit.

Basically, I just am going to play my AUX through the CD changer mode. Apparently my CD-changer is not running when it 'sees' that the RCA is active.

Just an idea, but do at your own risk... I'm no professional. It simply works great for me.
