My car already has an amp in the trunk right where i m going to put the computer! :-)

OK my question is that can i use that amp or do i need to get another one? The amp has only 2 connections on it. One is a wire harness from speakers and the other one is coming from the stock stereo up front.

The input on the amp is a 6 pin...looks like this:

o
o o
o
o o

This sounds too easy but do all i need is a wire that goes in there and to my pc sound card and thats it? Where can i get one of those and what is it called?

P.S. i dont know jack about amplifiers or car audio...although i have installed an aftermarket stereo before w/good instructions after blowing a few fuses

Thanks for the help.

i would post pics of the amp but i dont konw how, where do i upload them?

Sounds like a DIN connection to the amplifier. Metra makes connectors for several factory amplifier systems however they usually use the connection in the dash. Give them a shot before you try splicing in to that harness. On a side note, the amplifier may be speaker level in, in which case the line level from the carputer is not going to supply enough power to drive the amp.
