i posted this in a swi-x thread a while ago with no response, but i wanted some help finding a usb IR input, and making something that will be effective using it.
i figured making some sort of enclosure with the swix transmitter/reciver on one side and the comp IR device on the other, both inside so light isnt an issue...
could i just tape them together???? do they have to be some distance apart?
i hear IrDA devices are no go for this kind of scenario
