Having problems with both tools.

tvcc (tvtool version for chrontel chips) is able to shrink the screen (748x566 offset by 44 and 10), but it only wants to do it on a per program basis (and you have to hit cntrl-alt-f6 each time) and it needs me to tell it what chip I have every time.. neither are very good for a keyboard less install.

PowerStrip seems like it could work, but I can't figure out how to do it. I tried making a smaller resolution, but it wouldnt' let me switch to it.

Any suggestions? A smaller screen would help, but simply being able to slide everything to the right a little bit would help.
