Charles, I feel that I'm very close to resolving this problem.
I looked at Sproggy's site and saw the schematic for a power supply w/ power good, but I didn't see anything referencing a 555 timer. Can you post yours here or email it to me at dcl0@onebox.com?
Please keep in mind that I know very little about reading electrical schematics, so the more basic information the better.
