I agree.

I personally find it equally as rude to post those search icons. Also, keep in mind that *some* people actually do search, but being they are new, they dont know what key words to use (I will admit that most probably do not search, and I can see how this would get very annoying.) I know thats how it is for me, becaue I dont know what terms to include in a search, so I have asked questions at some websites that many people could have replied with "search you dumb noob," but luckily the places I have posted, the people are respectful at.

So I agree that people should search, but take the above paragraph into consideration.

Edit: So I checked the newbie forum, started reading the first thread, and only could take about a page of it. I can definately see where you ar coming from, but still, I would just say to ignore it all. The initial learning curve is not exactly easy, which is why a lot of people get frustrated I guess.
