That's not normal - i.e. it should be dead-on
How many satellites do you show and how many is it connected to (i.e. if you go to the GPS status in iGuidance, it will show something like 5/9 or maybe 9/12 or something liek that depending on where you are). If you are not "seeing" enough satellites like just 1 or 2, then this may be the reason - I am speculating...
