I know when I added an AUX input cable to my old pioneer headdeck, I had to do something like hold some buttons down on power-on and enable the 'aux' feature. Just adding the cable in didn't change anything. After I enabled the 'aux' feature on the headunit, the cable worked fine.

Yeah i worked that out myself on saturday the bloody manuals didn't mention anything about it either
I was holding down the CD-CDCH button which didn't do anything and i was bout to quit then i tried holding down the select.
It be bloody handy if they mention this in the manual it says nothing bout setting it to AUX-IN
My only problem is getting time to run the wires through the car nd get the softwre working well enough.
Still looks like my carpc won't be showed off in this meet either.
