MacCar was created for Mp3car users to have a subcommunity for supporting and encouraging Apple computers into the automotive environment.
Due to this purpose, we have a few simple rules:
- Do not start any Mac vs PC threads. - We do not care how l33t your PC is to the Mac or PC's are better blah blah blah. We are here for the challenge of placing our Mac's into our cars as an ALTERNATIVE automotive computing system and a community that supports each other down this path.
- Do not post your MacCAr install here - please post it in Show off your project - The "Show off your project" forum is dedicated for all PC, Mac, and Linux installs.
If you have your install posted in this thread and would like to be added to the running list of examples, you can notify me via PM and I'll add you to the running list of examples. If you are having a problem with your install, the MacCar forums is where to ask for some help:-)
- Spam posting in MacCar is considered any type of post that is negative to a user or detrimental to the MacCar forums community - any post found as such will be deleted and contacted with a warning. Repeated offenders will be submitted to the admins to be banned from the MacCar forum.
- No free Mini, Ipod, etc deals - If you read the general Mp3car forum posting rules, these are not allowed. If I see you posting them here, I will make sure you are reported and hopefully banned.
Updates to these rules will be posted in red with a post marking the update.
