So I keep hearing people talk about SPDIF digital off the mother boards being the best thing ever siince it's an RCA connection.
What I have yet to see is someone actually USING that SPDIF digital coax to go INTO a processor of some kind for car audio.
For instance, the Alpine H701 doesn't take SPDIF DIGITAL in only SPDIF OPTICAL (tos-link).

which, btw, there is a way to convert that over to run on 12volt. Its something that I have considered doing in my car...but I'm probably going to wait until the next build/nedw car comes around to do that.
