I believe the full fix for this guys is to go to your C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache
and delete or rename your sermouse.sys file that's where it recovers the files from if it sees an issue, if it doesn't have that file in order to recover, it wont, then delete or rename the one in system32, i haven't had an issue since, but had the issue with doing the regedit fix, after a few boots it came up as a sermouse again, so the file thing worked great so far
