Yeah - its a nice boat, the radio is down in the cabin, so thats why I wasn't worried about water, guess i'd just keep a towel next to the screen to wipe the hands...as far as using it goes, we do alot of fishing and just relaxing (and eating) in the water. We have two batteries, one in use and one in backup, so nothing to worry about there.

And, since I use the removeable HD tray, I would just purchase another one and it would make swapping the mp3s from car to home to boat real easy.
