Having gone thru the Phoco/RR setup recently, then I may be able to help.
questions:
1.. What type of phone?
2.. What do you have in the Phoco configuration setup (phonectl.config.xml)?
3.. When you start RR and allow it to spool Phoco check your Phonectlog.txt in the phonecontrol directory. Delete this file first, then run RR allowing it to call phoco and check the newly created file for errors.
4.. Make sure you have the -remotenodesign option checked and no entry in the ring tone file of RR config and save the RR when you exit.
I am using a spawn of the BMV2 skin, the call_in, call_out, phoco skin, etc. These have to be checked and verified very closely. The headphone or bluetooth option for RR/Phoco isn't fully implemented yet but hopefully it soon will be. The battery option, charging. signal strength do work and are phoco dependent on how it's config file is setup in the communications setting.

check my earlier posts this month on a few areas to check for.
