Pure sine wave dude.. I got a 600W Cont./1000W Peak for $142 shipped (sale is gone now sadly, or I'd buy 10 more - you can get 300W/500 for slightly cheaper than that though).. I'm running it plus and Opus 150W and thinking of ditching the Opus. It's just as efficient as the Opus, no noise (pure sine = yay, modified sine = boo), and cheaper than the Opus (although yeah usually more expensive). Plus I can run an extension cable to my glovebox and have a powerstrip in there to power the monitor, hubs, with their regular AC adapters, no running 5v lines from PSU.

Trust me, inverters got a bad rap from Sine Waves being way over priced and the modified sines being **** (you go buy one in a store, it's junk). Pick a store with a decent 30 day return policy, grab a pure (true) sine wave inverter, and try it out.. what do you have to lose besides a little time? It'll power your desktop pc, etc..

Funny I did the opposite.. had someone run the speaker cables but ran my own power and ground cables.
