Anything usb should be under the usb root hub, but, as was said, windows does have the habit of making serial gps's into serial mice in the device manager, and the gps is still a serial gps with a usb bridge on it, and a driver that makes windows things its another serial port, which is why windows turns it into a mouse. So you can blame windows and not the driver
