i have a tft also.. but i keep it tucked away most of the time. I just thought it would be cool to have my clock displaying stuff like that

Maybe i brush up on my coding skills and make an ap that will out put gps data, time & date, and temperature data. I don't know if I have the slightest chance of being able to do that though, since it's been a long time since i used anything except perl and php, and I don't have a helluva lot of free time
