if your cars are 12v like they are here, then any of the many power supplies sold on mp3car would work, but I would reccommend getting the m1-atx. thats what I am using in my car, and here is the run down on it.
its small, easy to build into your case.
it has a built in shutdown controller, so you dont have to buy additional hardware.
it has conditioned outputs for additional devices, like hard drives and stuff of course, but also for hooking up your LCD. that way you dont need to buy another power regulator, or try to build somehting that might fry your lcd.
using jumpers, it is configurable so you can set how many seconds the pc waits before turning on after you start the car, how long it waits to send the shut down signal to your pc, and then you can configure how long it waits before killing power to the pc entirely. that way your pc wont 'trickle drain' your battery to death if you dont move the car for a week. this has the added bennefit of shutting off the PC if it gts hung on hybernate.
it also has the feature where you can hook your amps "power on" switch though this thing, and it will wait till the pc is powered up before turning on your amp,. this is called "anti thump" and its an important feature if you are using an amp. keeps your amp from blowing up.
and its cheap as well.
they are selling the m2-atx now, which is 160 watts for 90$ US, and the m1-atx is only $75, its 90watts, which was more than enough for me, but it is out of stock.

I would be happy to mail you one of these, and mark it as a gift, or defective return or something like that. when I mailed my water blocks to denmark I included a hard written note to my friend out there telling him that the part he sent me was leaky and I wanted it repaired. customs didnt even bat an eyelash at it. so as I said, I would be happy to do that for ya. no markup.
