My car is in a heated garage overnight but exposed to the ambient temperatures while in the parking lot at work. Therefore, I'm dreading that the first 20 minutes of my ride home may be rather silent if the display won't play in the cold.

Normal winter temps here in New England (not [Old] England) can largely stay in the 'teens' during the day.
However, this has been an exceptionally warm winter.
