Lightbulb Car PC & Bose/Philips CCR800 Aux input

Hey all,

I just found this website. It`s great, i found a lot of useful info on it for my Car PC project. I however have question about my radio how to hookup the Car PC audio to my Bose Sound System.

I have a Opel/Vauxhall Omega 2,5 V6 (1998) which is has a Bose Sound System (BSS). The audio system works perfectly and i don`t want to get it out of my car because it integrates perfectly in my car. It also has a (Blaupunkt) 6 CD Changer. However, i do want to install my Car PC`s audio to it. The BSS has no front AMP (in the Headunit) but only an AMP in the trunk of my car. What i would like to do is cut the wires that go from my head unit to the amp and then connect the wires from my Car PC to the wiring that goes on to the AMP. And then add a switch so i can switch between the audio from my Headunit or the Car PC.

I created a schematic on what i mean and a picture of my car:

Does anyone know if the sound ouput from the Car PC can de rerouted this way?

Hopefully anyone can give me a (positive response.
