The switched 12V wire is just a sensor. It ends up in the microcontroller, draws only 1mA.

I'm wiring right now and I need to know the answer to this question so that I know how many amps to plan for on the switched ignition wire. I have 10 guage from the battery for constant 12 volt. If the switched ignition is just for signaling, then it doesn't matter how big the wire for it is or how many amps it will carry. Heck, I could tie in to the lead on one of the cigarette lighters that is only hot when the key is on. But I can't do that if the M2 might take as much as 15 amps on the switched ignition lead.
