Hey guys,
I think I just solved most of your problems with the M2-ATX. I just got mine working. When I gave up on the M2-ATX I started reading the owner's manual for the DSATX. There was a note in the DSATX manual that said that POLARITY MATTERS on the jumper wire that goes from the DSATX to the motherboard's on/off pins. Well, I thought of those pins as a switch. When shorted, the motherboard turns on. In fact, I've used a screwdriver across those pins to turn a computer on. So in my mind, polarity did not matter.
So I took the two pin connector that I had on the motherboard's on/off pins and I flipped it 180 degrees. The other end of this wire goes to J8 on the M2-ATX. Damned if the M2-ATX didn't power up my motherboard afterwards.
Amazing something so simple can bite you in the *** like that. swap the polarity on that connector from J8 to the motherboard and give it a try
