I'm looking at
this for my carputer. I'm very interested in the very clean install as it looks very close to the stock antenna on my Corolla and no antennas or recievers need to be visible on the outside of the car. Anyways, the antenna says it's for 802.11; GPS and cellular, but all three are the same connection. I don't know if they're labelled to all be one specific job (which makes some sense, as they all operate on different frequencies) or not, but basically I was wondering if I'd be able to use one of the leads coming off that for XM Radio.
Also, I was wondering what kind of wifi range you can get off of that antenna...
Has anyone even used one of these? I mean, this site sells em....
