Will the Toshiba LTM10C021 (10.4") LCD work ok with an AD2 (standalone) controller?

It doesnt say its supported on the Earth Computer Technologie's website, Im hesitant to buy any LCDs except the ones mentioned on their page but that is like 2-3 LCDs per controller, I simply dont know enough about this stuff yet to feel confident that it will work without asking here first... I simply want a 10.4" LCD I can get off ebay for a great price and then I want a Controller which is NOT a PCI card because wouldnt that require running a very long 31pin hirose cable from my trunk to the LCD? Would this even work?... Im getting most of my ideas from ArbyTech's website...

So would this be my best option... Run the SVGA cable from my GeForce2 GTS to the AD2 controller which I will have encased in the slim fiberglass case I make for my LCD which will be mounted to a Swivel arm coming off my dash... The AD2 will then goto the LCD with an 18" or so Hirose cable (or shorter)... and it will work right?

Is there any soldering required when connecting anything? do I need to create that cable myself if I do not buy a "kit" from Earth Computer Technologies? I dont really have any experience soldering wires however I do have experience installing in-car electronics but I would need to go buy a soldering iron I suppose, I really want to do this in a "plug and play" way if its possible, let me know if any LCD will work because im really getting confused and worried about ordering one in fear it will be incompatible with a controller...

Sorry about the long post but Ive been reading this forum and any other info I can find for a good 12 hours in the last 2 days and I still am a bit cloudy on if I can just buy one of these LCDs off ebay and have no problems... Also will any inverter work (for the backlight) or does it need to be model specific?

heh this is confusing.. but then im just getting started, 2 days ago I had no idea I could even use a Laptop LCD.
