I use SprintPCS and the new Power Vision (EVDO) is a constant 2.5MB for me although I am sure it will go down as more people start using it.
I've tried both my PCMCIA card and the USB cable that comes with the Power Vision phones and have had excellent speeds both at home and while driving.
