Nice thread Jason. I have a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am. I am just fed up with my clarion deck. I have been comtemplating this for a while. I guess i'm goin to try an tackle this in a couple of months. I will post as it goes. I have one question though. I prolly know its already been discussed but I searched an couldnt find it. Is there any way or has anyone come up with a way of losing the stock a/c controls an possibly having the controlled by the car puter. I mean most of it is electrical, except for I believe a vacuum line and another line (not sure what it is lol) sorry im more of a mechanical guy than a electrical. Anyways I was just wondering if it could be done. That way u still have the clean look. Also with the space of your glove compartment and center console or where ever u might stick it. Also on a side not that last camaro added on the first page is clean looking. Very clean and nice install I wish our dashes were that tall that way we could keep it stock looking as well.
