Well I think I found the solution to our problems!!! I did sone resherch on LCD and polarization and as I remembered LCD light is polarized. So if we just put a completely clear piece of polarized filter on the windshield exactly where the HUD should be then the light of the LCD will be completely reflected by the polarized film. It will never reach the glass of the windshield so no double image or any thing AND since light outside is NOT polarized it will go through the film with no problem! In addition during daylight the film Acts like a pair of polarized sunglasses!! it only blocks glare reflected from ground!!! You can cover all the driver side of the windshield so no seams visible and the LCD will practically be invisible to the outside!!! i did a proof of concept using one striped nitemax LCD as a polarized filter! Look at photos! First two just demonstrating the ability of the filter in front of my monitor. Third photo: I use the LCD in the middle but turned side ways so it is not blocking light. so u can still See a faded reflection behind it in the piece of clear plastic. In the forth photo i have the LCD blocking the light so u can see NO reflection in the back!!! last photo is just so you can see what I am doing. BTW at that point I wish I had two more hands or maybe be a Jedi!!! Cant hold all these things straight and take a picture too...
