Cats? I wouldn't bother. I had this cat who was just evil. Willful. Did things to **** me off intentionally (would stare at me while doing it, and wouldnt' stop until I started getting up and the run and hide).
I tried a sonic deterent. She broke it while I was sleeping. So I got a dog trainer (zapper) for a small dog. Man, you couldn't hold that thing on "5", I turned it all the way to "10", she just tensed a bit and gave me the stink eye.
