Ive been enthralled with the idea of a computer in my car for a while and have read the site for a while to get ideas. I just recently got my system finished (sorta finished thats why its a work log).
My system consists of:

Antec Aria mini ATX tower $50 bucks from work (im an car stereo installer at circuit city)

celeron d/ecs 661gx combo, aroung $130 from newegg

20gig harddrive, free from brother

ati 64mb radeon with composite output, free from mechanic at other job

MA audio 7 in tft screen, free from boss at other job

silicon folding keyboard, 15 bucks on ebay (should be here soon)

256 ddr, free from buddy

rayovac power inverter 600w, 30 bucks from circuit a few years ago (thing is near death i fear)

Pioneer dehp7700mp with aux input adaptor

infinity kappa 6.5s and 6x9s (waiting for replacements from infinity they blew and have a 3 year warranty)

arc audio 5 channel amplifier, free from boss at other job

i attached some pictures. the stock dash is from a spyder off of ebay i just wanted to give an idea of what i changed.

I made a new radio bezel out of aluminum and wood and blocked off the heater vent behind it with expanding foam.

I smoothed and painted both the monitor bezel and radio bezel semi flat black (god bless krylon, best spray paint around)

i relocated the hazard light switch, the rear wipers, and rear defrost to inside my center console.

I plan on getting a datalogger cable, gps stuff, and hopefully a vga touchscreen monitor when the money comes around (it was a pain in the rear to get the resolution to look decent on the rca monitor but it was free so i cant complain).

Im very pleased with the system right now but there is definitely room for improvements. Tell me what you guys think! If you have any ideas to make the system better let me know!
