the way I've always done it is to be very careful and tug slowly and firmly all around. if you break something, it's usually a clip and you can buy a new one for peanuts. it's also a good way to learn all about the connectors etc.

if u do take this route, keep this in mind: if you can't see any screws anywhere, then it needs a hard push. if the hard push doens't work, then you probably need to take something else off first, to reveal some screws.

you'll get there eventually
