PurDoom:
NexTel has a charger and USB cable in one. That's what I actually ordered on eBay but the seller shipped the wrong item. It's about $30 on the nextel site. Hopefully he'll ship the correct one and I can send this back. Either way - it doesn't seem like using the net drains that much battery - and I'm probably going to set it up so it disconnects if the net isn't in use. It only takes a moment for it to log back on and on standby the phone should last for days.
I also set up my mologogo today - very cool!

There is iDEN and WiDEN. iiDEN is supposed to be up to ~20kbps, WiDEN is up to 120kbs I think.
The newer more expensive boot phones are supposed to have WiDEN, however, I read that you can mod the i450 ($79) so that it can also use WiDEN. You can check out the howard forums thread about that...
However, it seems that the i450 I recently bought at Best Buy must be already capable as I am getting speeds between 50-80kbps (the 'real world' WiDen speeds posted by many). I'm guessing that Boost Mobile must have enabled it by default as they are pitching the Boost TV and other pay per use services. That's why I was so surprised and when I first ran speed tests and began browsing the web. I've even been listening to shoutcast radio stations in my car (48kbs AAC with some buffering is perfect)
