I haven't tried MP3 on DVD yet. But I found one thing I don't like: if I shut down the car while playing MP3 on SD card, and restart the car, the unit starts to scan all MP3 files and play the first one again.

Hey Crawlfish GREAT JOB you get an A PLUS from me that unit looks good. Do you have any picture's of how the face looks when it's open to load a cd and with the face off...how do you remove the face I don't see any buttons on the side.
