Check Fuse #5. This the fuse for the rear amplifier. It is located under the dashboard on the driver's side.

Another item to note. I beleive that the factory amplifier requires a LOW-LEVEL audio signal input. It sounds to me like you are sending it a HIGH-LEVEL audio signal off of your "4x45 watt output" stereo/screen device.

There is a chance that a high-level signal is required, but probably not. In fact, you might have already damaged your factory amplifier by sending it such a high powered audio signal. Either way, if you aren't sure, it is safer to start with a low-level signal first.
