well i duno about you but im planning on using the griffing firewave and plugging all that into a 4 channel amp to power the 4 speakers in my car. the only problem with an amp is the powerwiring, you need to run a fresh line from the batt in order to get the most reliable connection (and to prevent burning up stock wire).
I also plan on getting a powered subwoofer because they are small and you dont need and external amp (amp is built in). I would check out
