I've been experimenting with keyboard shortcuts and in addition to the previous post, here's another issue i'm having.
What works:
When I press "Z" to go to the previous song, the song properly decrements in the playlist, then the previous song is highlighted and played.
What doesn't work:
If I have a notional dir structure such as:
\mp3
\80's
\soft
----\mydir1
----\mydir2
If I start at "80's", and then I send "Q" for
DirList Up, the dirlisting selection properly moves up. The playlist also updates properly. The playlist window does not appear to have a selected song though. Pressing "Z" (previous) does properly select the first song in that new directory and plays it. Hitting "Z" (previous) again recycles the selection to the last entry, and then it properly continues to cycle backwards through the listing. Doing the same thing again, but instead using "M" for Next selects the 1st song in the playlist,
but hitting M again just keeps it stuck advancing to the 1st song. In summary, going Previous ("Z") seems to work properly, but going Next ("M") does not properly function.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a problem with FP?
Help is urgently appreciated. I've spent alot of $$$ and time tearing my car apart to add a SWI-X + IR receivers to make this work. I'd have to have spent all the time and money only to have this last component not work :-(
Also, the song name being played doesn't properly update at the top. If you switch to another directory and Play is pressed, the new song plays, but its corresponding information does not.
It appears as if the Directory window becomes unsynchronized with the Playlist window if keyboard shortcuts are used.
