Well just the opposite. They're connecting to some inventory server in CA from here in NM using telnet thru a VPN connection. What'll happen is the VPN will drop connection, then reconnect pretty quickly. But, when that happens, their telnet session disconnects, and when they try to reconnect, they have to call the company in CA because their session is still open on the server, so they can't connect until it gets reset.
Now the company in CA thinks its a DSL issue, but I don't think so. They think my client's DSL is diconnecting every so often. But from what I can tell, it's rock solid. I just needed a program that would log it so I could prove to them it's not the connection.
I think those Actiontec DSL modems do have some kind of log thingy, I'll have to check. In the meantime, if you guys come across anything, let me know.
