When using the Microsoft Bluetooth driver, you have to make sure that you have let the driver discover the services of your phone after pairing. Otherwise the PC is paired with your phone but it won't have any services (such as COM ports) assigned. In such case the Wizard won't be able to find anything.
The only thing that concerns me is that it's not supposed to lead to an exception.
