Okay, I muted MIC in the Windows mixer, brought up the WAV level in the CF mixer and life is much better. So you're back on my Christmas card list.

If you fix the XM channel switch speed issue (dialog boxes to stall for time don't count) I'll send you Birthday cards as well.


Yes, it's faster (2 minutes versus 15), but it's still there and you're still sifting through my device. What are you looking for if not to read tags?

The bottom line of my issue is that CF is making me hit CANCEL to stop it from doing something that I don't want it to do. It's annoying, time consuming and requires extra steps to deal with something that should just be Plug & Play.



And... Regarding the hang on resume - what objects are you "loading"? One thing I can confirm is that if I reboot, bring up CF in the Main menu (i.e., never touching anything else) then it will resume just fine. The hang "seems" like it has to do with XM.
