Okay, as to the power issue, one last question. Once you turn off the ignition, and shut down your computer - would the serial/USB scantool not loose power as well? Would this not then require you to disconnect once you started the computer up again? This is assuming that the OBDPro is not disconnected physically from the car or the PC.
Really don't worry to much about it, I will order one when I get your email and test if out
