Hi coucouillu,

Update, did the soldering job. The tech guy had to trace from the ribbon connector to another point. Well we got it working.... touch screen and the VGA was working fine. We got it working then applied hot glue to keep them in place.

BUT.... when we tried to stuff the cable and the PCB board and replace the back panel, that process applied some pressure on the VGA screen. He ended with no VGA signal. Tried that a couple of times and now we have the White Screen . Now we think the other ribbon cable is not seated properly and tried a couple of time. Well we are still trying. Our problem is not with the soldering but when pressure was applied to the board it cause something to be loose. If you look at the picture below he tried to put the PCB on top of where the green insulation is.

Any ideas, he is now retracing and all points check out. It might be a different issue because I had that White Screen problem once before the indash gear broke down.
